The rules for using this website. Short, and worth two minutes — particularly the part about what the information here is not.
Agreement
These terms govern your use of picklefinancials.com. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
They cover the website only. They are not the agreement under which we do your accounting — see "How we actually engage" below.
Nothing on this site is professional advice
Everything here — service descriptions, pricing ranges, FAQ answers, the margin snapshot, guides, worked examples — is general information about what we do. It is not accounting, tax, legal, financial or investment advice, and you should not act on it as though it were.
Your circumstances are specific and ours is a regulated profession. Advice you can rely on comes from a signed engagement, where we have seen your actual numbers and taken responsibility for our conclusions. Nothing on this page creates that relationship, and reading this site does not make you our client.
Pricing shown on this site
We publish real price ranges because we think you deserve to know roughly what this costs before you get on a call. Those ranges are indicative, not quotes. What you actually pay depends on your transaction volume, the number of sales channels and SKUs you run, the state of your existing books, and the scope you and we agree. We will give you a specific number in writing before any work begins, and we may change published pricing at any time.
How we actually engage
If we work together, a separate written engagement letter sets out the scope, fees, responsibilities and terms of that work. Where the engagement letter and this page disagree, the engagement letter wins. Submitting a form or booking a call does not create an engagement, and does not oblige either of us to enter one.
The forms on this site
When you submit a form or book a call, you agree that the information you give us is accurate and that it is yours to give. Please do not use our forms to send confidential information belonging to someone else, or to send anything unlawful or abusive.
We aim to respond within the timeframes described on the site, but those are targets rather than guarantees. How we handle what you send is described in our Privacy Policy.
Using the site
Please do not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or anything connected to it.
- Interfere with the site's operation, or introduce anything malicious.
- Scrape or copy the site's content for republication.
- Use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes anyone's rights.
Our content
The text, design, logo, graphics and materials on this site belong to Pickle Financials or are used with permission. You are welcome to read them, share links to them, and quote reasonable extracts with attribution. You may not republish them wholesale or present them as your own.
Links to other sites
We link out to third parties, including Calendly for scheduling, and LinkedIn and Upwork for our professional profiles. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you are on them.
Availability
We aim to keep the site up and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site or from reliance on general information published on it — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud.
Our responsibility for professional work is a separate matter, and is set out in the engagement letter for that work.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION TO BE CONFIRMED — e.g. the State of Idaho, United States], and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version always lives at this address, with the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
